A gentle method for tightening facial skin using sterile Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) threads. Polylactic acid is a polymer, meaning it's a series of many individual molecules of lactic acid, which occur naturally in the body. PLLA acts as a biostimulant, encouraging the skin to produce new collagen. This leads to a gradual increase in skin volume and an improvement in skin texture.

PLLA threads

PLLA threads (Poly-L-lactic acid) can last for up to 1-2 years after insertion and are eventually broken down into glucose, carbon dioxide and water.
